The Colossian Call

Here the love of Christ is present among us, as we your people arise here together

What is "the Colossian Call?" It's the call to let the Word of Christ dwell richly with us; to teach each other in God's Wisdom; to sing "hymns, psalms, and inspired songs;" and to give praise to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. These are the wonderful words of Colossians 3:12–17, a scripture passage that serves as a "mission statement" for me. Here, this epistolic instruction is applied to the call of the whole community gathered, in a bold and uplifting song of praise.
